Chabby’s title defense has become CHAPPETTO: A MEDICAL DOCUMENTARY. After a league-low 63.00 in Week 2, the reigning king walks into the 2–0 Preach buzzsaw with an injury-riddled roster.

Nico Collins, Puka Nacua, DJ Moore, and Rico Dowdle have turned the lineup into a triage tent. Preach, meanwhile, is not interested in sympathy. Caleb Williams may be hurt, but the Great Awakening has enough depth and top-end firepower to remind the realm how hard it is to go back-to-back.

But Michael Penix is back. BDR lost Dart. He lost Pierce. BDR finally got his Penix back.

This morning’s Judkins-for-Jadarian Price swap with Herm is not a seismic move, but it is another chess piece moving around the board while Houle tries to find the foundation. Houle remains silent until he gets a win. The monk adventure continues, and the 0–2 Hound cannot afford another quiet Sunday.

Herm survived his biggest week of the year. He beat Bru. The Vikings beat the Bears. LSU was the lone failure, but two-for-three gave the aggressive rebuilder new life.

Now he gets Beans, who is about to become a father. Herm has already done three tours in that theater: interrupted sleep, hospital bags, bottles, diaper changes, and the deeply irrational confidence that you can still manage a fantasy lineup at the same rate.

Beans has the stronger roster. Herm has momentum, veteran dad experience, and a league that is always one absurd Sunday away from chaos.

Drag remains the Patty Mahomes Truther, wielding Mahomes, Kelce, and a belief in Kansas City that borders on classified information. Bug returns from Europe after Jerry World ruined his vacation, armed with enough star power to make him the favorite.

One man is waiting for the truth to be revealed. The other is convinced the promise was already made.

This is the biggest game of the week for two teams with very little margin for error.

Tres is 0–2. He is not there because he cannot score; he is there because the league has decided somebody must donate every week, and the Sea Snake is currently wearing the nametag. Another loss would make the Sewer Dweller and League Donator material painfully difficult to retire.

Bru is 1–1, but this is no soft landing. Herm has revived his season, and Bru cannot afford to be the Martin who gives an 0–2 opponent his first breath of life. Lose this one and the word “collusion” may return to the group chat—not because anyone believes it, but because the league will take any excuse to start the investigation again.

For Tres, it is must-win. For Bru, it is can’t-lose. Same damn thing.
