THE ORIGINAL STARTUP DRAFT
250 picks · 25 rounds · 10 founding managers
Before the titles, ACT scores, Iron Throne arguments and years of receipts, there was one board. The 2015 startup draft created the original Shy City franchises. The manager labels below are preserved exactly as they appeared in the original workbook.
The original 1st-round order: JP 1.01 · Rocky 1.02 · Dragon 1.03 · Chabs 1.04 · Houle 1.05 · Beans 1.06 · Bruin 1.07 · Bear 1.08 · Tjurn 1.09 · Dord 1.10.
THE BEAR ASTERISK // BDR’S FIRST CROWN
THE HUSKER WHO SOMEHOW GOT A KEY
Bear was one of the ten original Shy City managers, drafting from the 1.08 slot in the 2015 startup. When Bear later left the league, BDR — a Husker, which was already suspicious enough — somehow slid into the vacant chair without what several members remember as anything resembling a proper league vote.
Houle, in particular, has never been fully convinced the transfer of power met Shy City constitutional standards. There were questions. There were side-eyes. There were probably texts. Before anyone could assemble a proper committee, Picnic Rick had already unpacked his bags and started making trades.
Then came 2017. BDR won the championship, and Shy City immediately reached the only reasonable conclusion: he had won the title with Bear’s team. The original inheritance had started with Demaryius Thomas, Eddie Lacy, LeSean McCoy, Todd Gurley, Jarvis Landry, Golden Tate, Jonathan Stewart and Travis Kelce, so the allegation had enough evidence to survive in the group chat forever.
Over time, though, Picnic Rick grew on the realm. The mysterious Husker import became one of the boys, won another title on his own merits, and has been accepted as a legitimate Shy City house.
Mostly.
Official record: BDR — 2017 Champion
Shy City ruling: Asterisk that shit.

2016–2018 // THE EARLY BOARDS
SURVIVING ARCHIVE
No Preacher grade table is visible in the surviving screenshots for these seasons, so the archive preserves the board and the receipts without inventing grades.
2018
Saquon Barkley opened the draft. The board also produced Nick Chubb, D.J. Moore, Calvin Ridley and Courtland Sutton. The late-round receipts are even better: Lamar Jackson at 2.10, George Kittle at 3.08 and Josh Allen at 5.10.
2017
Preach’s old DORD draft is an all-time archive piece: Dalvin Cook, Kareem Hunt, Evan Engram, Jamaal Williams and Cooper Kupp. The same first round also included Christian McCaffrey and Alvin Kamara, with Aaron Jones later going to Tres.
2016
The oldest preserved rookie board opens with Ezekiel Elliott. Other cornerstone names include Michael Thomas, Derrick Henry, Jared Goff and Carson Wentz. The screenshot uses the league’s original first-name-era manager labels, so those names are preserved as historical artifacts.
