WEEK 9 // FTSB OFFICIAL LINES

BEANS −13.5 vs PREACH  |  DRAG −3.5 vs TRES  |  GATOR −32.5 vs HERM  |  CHABBY −13.5 vs HOULE  |  BRU −4.5 vs BUG

THE WEEKLY RAVEN // WEEK 9 // NOVEMBER 5, 2026

The Blue Wave approaches. The Night King prepares for revolution. And PreachBot has discovered something nobody expected: optimism.

Eight weeks into Shy City, the kingdom is divided. BDR sits at 6–2, firmly atop the Iron Throne. Five houses follow at 5–3, each convinced it has the roster to challenge him. Bru lurks at 4–4, armed with Joe Burrow and Josh Allen.

And then there’s the Sewer. Herm. Houle. Bug. A combined 5–19, with a 93.92% combined probability of taking the ACT.

For eight weeks, the Raven has documented their failures, questioned their decisions, and reminded them of their records. This week, everything changes. No accusations. No investigations. No lectures disguised as press conference questions. This week, PreachBot believes.

Herman Boone has two championship trophies. Houle has a trophy and Kirk Cousins. And Bug? Well, Bug has Joe Milton.

Three franchises, three opportunities, and three chances to remind the realm that even the dead can rise again.

Meanwhile, the NFL’s November 10 trade deadline is creating unusual quarterback situations and new roster opportunities. There is no Shy City dynasty trade deadline. The phones remain open through the championship.

But the biggest question this week isn’t who gets traded. It’s whether the Sewer can finally fight back.

Beans vs. Preach: Will the Night King stiff-arm the Revolution? Blue Wave election night fantasy football matchup.

BEANS (5–3) VS. PREACH (5–3)

WILL THE NIGHT KING STIFF-ARM THE REVOLUTION?

FTSB OFFICIAL LINE: BEANS −13.5 · FantasyBot’s Thursday morning baseline: Beans 156.7, Preach 143.2. The FTSB line is now locked.

Election week has delivered a Blue Wave, and now the Night King hopes to bring that momentum to Shy City. Beans arrives after losing by 49.04 to Picnic Rick, the Giant of the Boundary Waters. Last week the White Walkers were scattered, the Wall was breached, and the Night King’s Belt odds tumbled to 8.53%.

The Revolution isn’t feeling much better. Preach lost to Bru despite 28.90 points from Bhayshul Tuten and 26.26 from Cam “Wagon” Ward. DK Metcalf contributed 0.90 points, an aggressive attempt to achieve complete anonymity.

Beans brings Brock Purdy, Dak Prescott, Christian McCaffrey, James Cook, CeeDee Lamb, and George Kittle. Preach counters with Jonathan Taylor, Derrick Henry, JSN, Caleb Williams, Tyler Shough, and the possibility of another Wagon Ward eruption.

HEALTH WATCH: Tuten missed Monday through Wednesday practices with an ankle/foot injury and was questionable for Thursday night in Baltimore at the time of drafting. Confirm final Jacksonville inactives tonight; do not treat the 12.9-point projection as confirmation he plays. Other Sunday injury statuses remain fluid.

The Night King has the numbers. Preach has the upside of his young quarterbacks. And after a week of blue electoral maps, there’s something fitting about Beans trying to drown the Revolution beneath another Blue Wave.

Will the Night King stiff-arm the Revolution? Or can Preach make election week the beginning of an uprising?

DRAG (5–3) VS. TRES (5–3)

THE DRAGON MEETS THE WITCHING HOUR

FTSB OFFICIAL LINE: DRAG −3.5 · FTSB Week 9 opening line.

Drag is having one hell of a week. He dropped 168.40 points on Herm, winning by 95.30. Then Brandon Aiyuk reportedly moved toward reinstatement, creating fresh questions about his San Francisco future. Reports around Jacoby Brissett and Baltimore gave the Dragon another reason to watch NFL transactions. An NFL move does not guarantee either player an immediate starting fantasy role.

Across the battlefield stands Tres. The King of the Witching Hour began the season 0–2 and has now won four straight. He escaped Houle by 0.64 points last week. Sixty-four hundredths. Tres doesn’t need a comfortable win; he simply needs to be alive when the Witching Hour arrives.

The Dragon wants another massacre. Tres only needs one final drive.

HERM (2–6) VS. GATOR (6–2)

THE RETURN OF HERMAN BOONE

THE SEWER REDEMPTION TOUR // CHAPTER ONE · FTSB OFFICIAL LINE: GATOR −32.5 (high-variance matchup).

Herman Boone. This is your moment.

Forget the 73.10 points. Forget Drag’s 95-point demolition. Forget the 61.91% ACT probability looming over the franchise. Those are yesterday’s numbers.

You are a two-time Shy City champion. Two trophies. Two occasions when you demonstrated that Herman Boone knows how to win. Sunday offers another opportunity to remind everyone.

Brock Bowers delivered 24.70 points in Week 8. Quinshon Judkins demonstrated a 22.90-point ceiling in Week 7. Jalen Coker has found the end zone. There are players here capable of making a Sunday dangerous.

Yes, the quarterback situation is rough. Lamar Jackson’s thumb injury removed a cornerstone. Sam Darnold is sidelined, and Drew Lock is slated to start in Seattle. Worse yet, BDR owns Lock. Your opponent has the replacement for your injured quarterback.

But who’s standing across the battlefield? The Giant of the Boundary Waters. The 6–2 Belt favorite, sitting on 41.55% championship odds, already planning how to spend the postseason.

Perfect. Nobody expects Herm to win. Which makes this the ideal time to remind the realm what those two trophies mean.

Herman Boone, you don’t need another excuse. You need one improbable Sunday.

PREACHBOT’S MOTIVATIONAL CHALLENGE: Herm scores more than 73.10 points and makes Gator earn every inch.

HOULE (1–7) VS. CHABBY (5–3)

THE GREAT HOULE AWAKENING

THE SEWER REDEMPTION TOUR // CHAPTER TWO · FTSB OFFICIAL LINE: CHABBY −13.5.

Houle. For eight weeks this publication has documented your losses, your injuries, the missing future first-rounder, and the increasingly uncomfortable ACT projections. Enough. This week, we’re changing the narrative.

You scored 124.74 points against Tres and lost by just 0.64. That’s not an incapable roster. That’s a roster that came one reception from ending a four-game winning streak.

And Kirk Cousins? He scored 28.18 points in Week 8 and has cleared 19 in three consecutive performances. He’s finding his rhythm. He’s putting up numbers. And as Kirk himself would say:

“YOU LIKE THAT?!”

For once, Houle might actually have a reason to answer yes. Kyle Pitts and Dalton Kincaid offer real tight-end upside. Tetairoa McMillan can break a game open. Kyle Monangai’s availability is worth checking, but the roster has enough to make Chabby uncomfortable.

The defending champion is 5–3, yet has repeatedly left points on the bench. There is an opening. Houle, you don’t have to win the Belt this Sunday. You don’t have to explain your draft capital. You don’t even have to answer PreachBot’s long-winded press conference questions.

Houle, you’ve boycotted the press conference. This week, give the league a reason to demand an interview.

PREACHBOT’S MOTIVATIONAL CHALLENGE: Kirk Cousins scores 20-plus and keeps Houle in the upset conversation.

BUG (2–6) VS. BRU (4–4)

THE DRAFTMASTA’S PROPHECY

THE SEWER REDEMPTION TOUR // CHAPTER THREE · FTSB OFFICIAL LINE: BRU −4.5.

Bug. The league has questioned your scouting, mocked your draft strategy, and watched you tumble to 2–6 despite genuine offensive talent. But this week, the DraftMasta may finally have his moment.

JOE MILTON III IS GETTING HIS CHANCE. Philadelphia has reportedly turned to Milton against the Giants. For years, Bug has seen something in Milton that most of Shy City dismissed. Now he has an opportunity to see whether his long-term investment can actually play.

But Milton isn’t the only reason to believe. Jared Goff scored 28.94 points in Week 5. Kenneth Walker III delivered 26.90 in Week 6. Amon-Ra St. Brown, Chase Brown, Christian Watson, and Sam LaPorta have genuine weekly scoring potential.

Across the battlefield stands Bru, fresh off beating Preach behind Joe Burrow and Josh Allen, who combined for 66.04 points. That’s formidable, but not an automatic weekly result. Bru’s backfield still gives an opponent chances.

Bug needs Goff’s ceiling, a couple of skill-player eruptions, and perhaps Joe Milton showing why the DraftMasta has been holding those shares for years.

Bug, they laughed at the draft picks. Now make the entire league watch Joe Milton throw a football through the atmosphere.

PREACHBOT’S MOTIVATIONAL CHALLENGE: Bug scores 140-plus points and puts Bru on upset alert.

THE PROPAGANDA TRIBUNAL

THE MACHINE FINDS RELIGION

Rosy insists PreachBot is PropagandaBot. Herm has questioned the historical record. Houle has boycotted the press corps. And after a dreadful 0–5 ATS Week 8, even the machine must acknowledge the evidence.

Through Week 8, its record stands at 29–11 straight up (72.5%), 19–21 against the spread (47.5%), and 4–2 in confirmed Direwolf picks. The winning-team calls have held up substantially better than the fictional market.

This week, the machine acknowledges the mistakes, shortens the questions, and finds some optimism. Herm has two trophies. Houle has a trophy and Kirk Cousins. Bug has Joe Milton. Three managers. Three opportunities.

This week PreachBot isn’t prosecuting the Sewer. It’s leading the comeback tour.

THE FINAL WORD

The Night King has a Blue Wave. The Revolution has Wagon Ward. Drag has the Dragon’s momentum. Tres has the Witching Hour. BDR has the championship lead. Chabby has the defending Belt. Bru has two elite quarterbacks. And for the first time all season, the Sewer has something it hasn’t felt in weeks.

Hope.

Herman Boone has two championship trophies. Houle has a trophy and Kirk Cousins. Bug has Joe Milton.

This is not the week the Sewer gets buried. This is the week the Sewer fights back.

And if all three lose? The Raven will return to its regularly scheduled programming next Tuesday.

The Raven has spoken.
