THE WEEKLY RAVEN // WEEK 2 RECAP

SURVIVAL SUNDAY

Week 2 did not care about projections. Quarterbacks went down. Chabby’s contender turned into an urgent-care waiting room. Bug went to sleep with the game seemingly handled and woke up to Beans ten toes up watching Jerry World steal his win.

PREACH 170.48 // TRES 142.70

THE SEA SNAKE GOES TO THE PILLORY

Tres actually put up a respectable 142.70 and stayed in the fight deep into Sunday. Unfortunately, Preach kept answering.

The biggest damage to the Awakening was not the scoreboard — it was Caleb Williams leaving with a hamstring injury. Caleb is now listed Out, joining Jordan Mason on the injury shelf. The depth we talked about before kickoff mattered immediately, and the rest of the roster carried the load.

Tres falls to 0–2 despite scoring well enough to beat most of the league this week. The performance was not Sewer-worthy. The record is.

SEWER DWELLER. LEAGUE DONATOR. Bring out the pillory.

DRAG 134.26 // HOULE 115.96

THE PATTY MAHOMES TRUTHER DRAGS HOULE DEEPER INTO THE SEWER

Drag somewhat looks like Patrick Mahomes. Drag is a KC truther. Drag rosters Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce. At some point this stopped being a bit and became an actual roster-construction philosophy.

The Chiefs stack helped push Drag to 1–1 and Houle to 0–2. Houle is no longer visiting the Sewer.

He has begun receiving mail there.

BDR 110.86 // CHAN 63.00

CHAPPETTO: A MEDICAL DOCUMENTARY

BDR won by 47.86 while scoring only 110.86. That tells the story.

Chabby’s roster got obliterated by injuries. Nico Collins, Puka Nacua, DJ Moore and Rico Dowdle are now listed Out, and the healthy pieces never produced enough to keep the matchup alive. The reigning champion went from contender to triage unit in a matter of hours.

The final damage: 63.00 points — lowest score of Week 2 by a mile.

BDR moves to 2–0 without needing anything close to his best game.

PRESSER WATCH: CHABBY. The microphone belongs to the reigning king after the injury apocalypse.

HERM 137.40 // BRU 115.30

THE BIGGEST WEEKEND OF HIS LIFE: 2 FOR 3

Herm declared the stakes himself: fantasy, LSU, Vikings — the biggest weekend of his life.

The father of three was just trying to feed his family. Davante Adams put him on his back and helped carry the aggressive rebuilder past his brother Bru, putting him down softly and delivering the fantasy leg of the weekend.

The Vikings handled the Bears. LSU fell short to Ole Miss in Lane Kiffin’s return to Oxford.

Two out of three. Herm gets to 1–1, Bru falls to 1–1, and for one week the rebuild fed the family.

BEANS 166.00 // BUG 163.00

TEN. TOES. UP.

This was the game of the week.

Bug went to sleep believing the job was done. Reasonable assumption. Then Beans assumed the traditional position: ten toes up, couch, television on, Jerry World.

The Cowboys went to work and Beans stole it by exactly 3.00 points.

Bug went to sleep with the win. Beans went ten toes up. Dallas woke the dead.

And now Bug is somewhere sulking over the Atlantic on the flight home, replaying the exact moment Jerry World ruined his vacation.

WEEK 2 // INJURY TENT

SURVIVAL HAS A PRICE

Preach: Caleb Williams is now listed Out with the hamstring issue; Jordan Mason remains on IR.

Chan: Nico Collins, Puka Nacua, DJ Moore and Rico Dowdle are currently listed Out. No team took a harder Week 2 injury hit.

Beans: Jayden Daniels is currently listed Out, adding another major concern even after the win.

Herm: Kyler Murray, Sam Darnold, Tua Tagovailoa and Brock Bowers are currently listed Out, although Davante Adams gave Herm the production he needed to survive Week 2.

Tuesday injury designations can change during the week. These are the current post-Week 2 roster statuses, not final Week 3 availability calls.

AFTER TWO

THE REALM

2–0: Preach, BDR
1–1: Drag, Herm, Bru, Beans, Bug, Chan
0–2: Houle, Tres

Two undefeated teams. Two Sewer residents without a win. One father of three who survived the biggest weekend of his life. One manager sulking somewhere over the Atlantic. And one reigning champion headed directly to the podium after scoring 63 fucking points.

Week 2 is closed. Chabby, the microphone is yours.
